What is CBD Isolate?

Many people today are using CBD isolate to treat a variety of conditions including pain, PTSD, lack of appetite, and other conditions. So exactly what is cbd isolate? Cbd isolate is also called cbd crystals or cbd powder. There are many CBD products available and knowing what the different terms mean will help you choose the right cbd product for your needs. Whenever I go to a dispensary near me in search of cbd deals, I find new products on the shelves made with cbd isolate. CBD isolate is one of the terms you’ll come across again and again if you're researching CBD. This article will answer questions about what is CBD isolate or CBD crystals and why it's so popular.

What are CBD Isolate Crystals?

CBD isolate crystals are exactly what it sounds like it is: pure cbd, without other compounds or derivatives. Technically, cbd isolate is never completely pure, but with 99%+ pure cbd isolate available, for all intents and purposes, it's the purest form of cbd that can be purchased. It usually comes in the form of a white, crystalline powder or in small slabs. It looks a bit like frosty ice crystals. CBD isolate can be added to foods and beverages, dabbed, used as a bowl topper, or blended into cbd lotions, ointments and other products.

How is CBD Isolate Made

CBD isolate aka cbd crystals is derived from the cannabis plant through various processes that allow the cbd to be isolated and extracted. The process of making Cbd isolate typically begins with organically grown hemp. We're not talking about the kind of cannabis that gets you high. Cbd isolate is usually made from commercial-grade industrial hemp--cannabis grown to yield maximum biomass. Hemp is very different from the marijuana we use to get high, even though it's technically the same plant. Hemp is virtually void of viable THC, but it's a great source for CBD.

Making Cbd isolate is a multi-step process. First, CO2 extraction is used to extract the oils and resins from the cannabis. This is followed by winterization to help separate out the lipids. Extraneous plant matter is removed and what remains is CBD isolate.

How do you use CBD Isolate?

If you're wondering how to use cbd isolate you have some choices. One of the most popular ways to use cbd isolate crystals is blending it into a carrier oil for topical use or for making Cbd edibles. Just mix the desired dosage of cbd crystals into the slightly warmed oil. For cbd edibles, olive oil works well. For cbd topicals, try coconut oil. Another way to use cbd isolate is dabbing. You'll need some special equipment called a dab rig, which basically looks like a bong only the bowl part looks different. The dab rig is heated to a very high temperature with a special torch, then the cbd isolate can be put into contact with the rig, heated, and inhaled. Dabbing can be painful for some as the vapors are extremely hot, so caution is needed.

Where to Buy CBD Products in Denver

CBD isolate can be ordered directly from many companies that offer the product for agricultural or industrial uses or for research purposes. One such Colorado based entity that offers CBD isolate crystals is the Colorado Hemp Project where it's priced at $50 per gram. However, I prefer to purchase my products in person so when I want cbd isolate in Denver I just head to a dispensary near me. For the best variety and assortment of products made with CBD isolate just go to Google and search the item your looking for. I also find that visiting your local dispensary is a good way to learn more about cbd isolate and find the right cbd product for my needs.

What is CBD?

If you’re new to the weed world – or just still don’t quite get what CBD is – you’re not alone. The use of CBD has exploded over the last few years, and it’s a product you can find in a lot of places.

The marijuana plant is filled with different cannabinoids – compounds found within cannabis that have varying effects. There are over 100 known cannabinoids, the most notable being tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is the cannabinoid that gives marijuana its psychoactive and euphoric effects.

The other major cannabinoid in marijuana is cannabidiol (CBD). CBD produces no psychoactive effects – you don’t get high off CBD. Instead, CBD offers pain relief and a calming effect. This isn’t to say that CBD doesn’t alter your consciousness – users often will be more mellow and relaxed, just not “high.”

People take CBD products for a few different reasons – the main ones being pain and anxiety relief. Healthline reported that there are even more key benefits to taking CBD:

·         Pain relief

·         Anxiety relief

·         Acne reduction

·         Heart health benefits

·         Cancer symptom alleviation

·         Neuroprotective properties

Studies into the positive effects of CBD are still relatively new and ongoing but expect to find more and more benefits discovered in the coming years.

Types of CBD Products

CBD has been infused with a multitude of wellness products over the last few years. The most popular of these products include:

·         Oils & Tinctures – CBD extracted from marijuana is combined with different oils to be taken orally.

·         Edibles – like THC edibles, CBD is combined with food.

·         Topicals – these are CBD-infused skin products to be administered topically, or on the skin.

·         Capsules – CBD is extracted and then made into pill form.

·         Drinks – popular drinks are infused with extracted CBD.

You can also purchase CBD strains of flower to smoke. It won’t get you high – but it can satisfy those who like the act of smoking.

What CBD Product Should I Try?

Exactly what CBD product you should buy is dependent on your situation. If you're using it for pain relief, typically a topical cream rubbed directly on the injured area is a great route – but you can also take edibles or oils or smoke flower for the same effects.

Because of the different ways of ingestion, the CBD will take longer to get into the system. Generally, edibles and tinctures will take the longest amount of time to kick in – but they also last the longest. Topical creams work relatively fast, but you may find that the effects won’t last as long. Smoking or vaping CBD will kick in at the same pace THC does – but don’t expect a high.

We recommend experimenting with several different types of CBD products to find what works best for you. Luckily, Cannasaver has tons of deals on CBD, so trying these products won’t hurt your wallet. Check out some of the awesome deals below.
